Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Fire At Abandoned Plumstead House

When firefighters arrived on the scene, smoke was showing from the building located in the 1000 block of Easton Road.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bucks County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of a fire that broke out inside an abandoned home Wednesday morning in the township.

The Plumsteadville Fire Company was dispatched just after 7:30 a.m. to the 1000 block of Easton Road where smoke was showing from the structure.

Firefighters worked cautiously with other crews at the fire scene to locate and extinguish the fire.

Assisting at the scene were the Doylestown Fire Company No. 1, Point Pleasant Volunteer Fire Co., Dublin Volunteer Fire Company, Midway Volunteer Fire Company, and the Chalfont Fire Company.

Warwick Township Fire Company No. 1, Midway Volunteer Fire Company, and Lingohocken Fire Company assisted in covering Station 20.
