DOYLESTOWN, PA — Firefighters were called to the 200 block of North West Street at Neis Park Tuesday morning for the report of a truck fire.

When firefighters from Doylestown Fire Co. No. 1 arrived, they found that a garbage truck had dumped a smoldering load of trash onto a parking lot.

The fire was essentially "out on arrival," said firefighters, although the volunteer spent some time sorting through the mess and using hand lines to wet down the debris.
