What: Tri-Municipal Parade
Where: New Britain Borough, New Britain Township and Chalfont Borough
When: Tuesday, July 4 at 9 a.m.
The parade begins at Town Center in New Britain Borough and ends at North Branch Park in New Britain Township. A Veteran’s Ceremony will follow the parade at the Veteran’s Memorial at North Branch Park following the parade’s conclusion.
What: Fonthill Castle Fourth in Doylestown

Fonthill Castle will celebrate Independence Day with some old-fashioned fun, where guests enjoy a day of fun, food, games, crafts, entertainment and live music. Highlights of the day include the children’s decorated bike parade, wheelbarrow and sack races, tug-of-war, live musicians, and food trucks. Antique bicycles, historic town ball (a precursor to baseball), and other fun activities make this a day to remember. Admission: $5 for adults, $1 for youth (ages 6-17), and free for children 5 and under. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Tickets sold at the door will be cash only. This event will be held rain or shine. Enter at Swamp Road (Rt. 313) entrance, between North Street and East Court Street, and follow parking signs.
What: Red, White & Blue BBQ Bash
Where: Peddler's Village, Lahaska
When: Tuesday, July 4 from 12 to 5 p.m.
On Tuesday, July 4 Peddler’s Village will host its Red, White & Blue BBQ Bash. Taking place from 12 to 5 p.m., the BBQ Bash will feature all-American grilled favorites, festive music, and old-fashioned games including sack races, a balloon toss, watermelon-eating contests, and more. During a Bluegrass & Blueberries Festival on July 8 and 9, guests can enjoy local blueberries, blueberry-themed food and beverages including pies, live bluegrass and country music, food trucks, kids’ activities, and shop specials. Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Peddler’s Village
shops will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 8. The festival will be held rain or shine.
What: 50th Annual Southampton Days Country Fair and Fireworks
Where: Tamanend Upper Southampton Park, 1255 Second Street Pike, Southampton
When: July 3 to 8.
