First Ever Bucks County Spa, Salon Self-Care Month Announced By Kin
From May 6 through June 6, self-care appointments will benefit the lives of locals battling cancer.

BUCKINGHAM, PA — Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month will make its debut this spring running from May 6 through June 6.
Throughout the month, people are encouraged to book appointments at participating spas, med-spas and salon locations with a percentage of their treatment fee going to benefit local cancer patients and their caregivers through the Kin Wellness and Support Center.
"Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month was created to connect the community with local businesses who provide amazing services while raising funds for the non-profit Kin Wellness and
Support Center," said Keith Fenimore, executive director and founding member of Kin.

Kin provides free care to more than 250 local cancer patients and their caregivers across Bucks County. Based in Buckingham, Kin operates out of a 5,000 square foot, all-inclusive facility.
The month-long event (May 6 - June 6) is a showcase for preeminent local spas, med-spas and salons to gain exposure to potential new clients, while allowing both new and existing clients to book an appointment and participate in supporting community members battling cancer, said Fenimore.

"We are excited to participate in the first Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month," said Migdalia Costante, owner of Doylestown Float Studio. "Self-care is at the core of what we do. Self-care is essential to our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, and this program aligns perfectly with our mission to be a wellness resource to our community, while giving back to members of our community that need our support."
Fenimore adds, “There has been an overwhelming response by the most popular spas, med-spas and salons in Bucks County who will use their talents to help local cancer patients in a unique way. We are thrilled that our fundraising efforts incorporate local businesses in a meaningful way that not only helps the non-profit but helps spark local commerce and support for the businesses who participate.”
Fenimore said there is an amazing team of volunteers who have assembled to help ensure the Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month is a success: Migdalia Costante of Doylestown Float Studio, Sarah Peters of KW Real-Estate, Ashley Pompei of the Shops at Valley Square, Amy Stump of Sarah Cornwell Jewelry, Andrea Ferguson of Up In The Air Balloons, Sandy McIntyre of Grace Media Services Inc., Nancy Catricks, Sandy Roberts, Jean Transue, Karen Sciarra, Beth Cady, Lynn Carp, Pam Schum, Joanne Petrun, and Marianne Fenimore.
