First Ever OktoBBQfest On The Menu At Holy 'Que Smokehouse In Lahaska

Known for its authentic Texas-style barbecue, the Smokehouse is celebrating all things beer and bratwurst with its inaugural event.

LAHASKA, PA — Holy 'Que Smokehouse, known for its authentic Texas-style barbecue,
is celebrating all things beer and bratwurst with its inaugural OktoBBQfest on Saturday,
Oct. 15 and Sunday, Oct. 16 where guests will receive one complimentary German brew with purchase of bratwurst sandwich or platter.

OktoBBQfest is happening the same weekend as Peddler’s Village’s highly-anticipated OctoberFEAST 2022, giving locals and visitors of Bucks County one delicious "Wiesn" to party.

While traditionally Oktoberfest is celebrated in both Munich, Germany (and around the globe) from September 17 through October 3, Holy ‘Que Smokehouse is keeping the festivities going with this weekend-long addition to its already sought-after menu.

Starting promptly at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 patrons can order bratwurst-centric sandwiches such as the Holy Grail, prepared with smoked brisket, pulled pork, and bratwurst covered in molten queso, and the Beer and Cheddar Brat (served as a sandwich or by the pound on a platter with sliced potato bread), and will automatically
receive one complimentary German-style beer. Must be 21+ to receive the complimentary beverage.

"Community is at the center of everything we do at Holy 'Que," said owner and Pitmaster Tom Peters. "We would not have made it this far without the love and support of our friends and neighbors. OktoBBQfest is just one of the many ways we like to show our appreciation to our loyal guests."

In addition the OktoBBQfest, Holy 'Que Smokehouse has recently added a smattering of rotating new menu items including the Fried Chicken Sandwich composed of buttermilk brined country fried chicken topped with pickled relish, Fried Mac and Cheese Balls composed of three-cheese mac rolled, seasoned and flash fried into a tasty treat, Texas Red Chili served with or without corn bread croutons, and Queso Waffle Fries with the option to add brisket or pulled pork.

Hours of operation: Thursday through Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m. or until sell out.
