First Saturday Chess Outdoor Season Starts This Weekend

Doylestown's First Saturday Chess will begin its outdoor season this Saturday, June 4.

The event is held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Doylestown Historical Society Park, 56 South Main St., Doylestown. If it rains, games will be played in the Barn Meeting Room located in the back of the park.

According to information from the borough, First Saturday Chess is open to players of all ages and abilities. Coaching is provided for novice players. Chess sets are available.

The free event is sponsored by the Doylestown Borough Parks and Recreation Board.
