Flag-Waving Tri-Municipal Parade Steps Off On The 4th In Bucks

The patriotic march through New Britain Borough, Chalfont Borough and New Britain Township is a community tradition.

NEW BRITAIN, PA — There's no better way to kick off a Fourth of July celebration than with a flag-waving, red, white and blue parade.

The annual Tri-Municipal Parade will step off on Thursday, July 4 beginning at 9:30 a.m. with a patriotic march through three Central Bucks County communities - New Britain Borough, Chalfont Borough and New Britain Township.

The parade forms in the parking lot of the Town Center in New Britain Borough and then marches west on Butler Avenue to N. Main Street (Route 152) in Chalfont Borough. At Route 152, the parade turns right onto Park Avenue and ends at North Branch Park in New Britain Township.

The march will include local and county politicians, veterans, floats, community organizations, musicians, patriotic tractors, Uncle Sam, first responders, and lots of red, white, and blue. Bring lawn chairs to enjoy the hometown parade.

The Park & Recreation Advisory Board of New Britain Township organizes the parade.
