Food Co-op Hosts Bowling Fundraiser

"Local Lanes" starts at 4:30 p.m. at Thunderbird Bowling Center in Warminster.

On Sunday June 3, the Doylestown Food Co-op and Thunderbird Bowling Centers are teaming up to offer you the chance to bowl for a cause.

From 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Local Lanes will take place at Thunderbird Bowling Centers at 1475 W. Street Road in Warminster.

The event, which is open to the whole family, is a fundraiser for the Doylestown Food Co-op. Tickets are $25 in advance per bowler and $30 at the door, with team sign-ups available for up to six bowlers.  If you cannot attend but are interested in supporting this event, you can also choose to sponsor a lane for $50.

The money raised will be used to grow the Co-op's membership base, and to open and operate the Co-op.

The retail food Co-op that organizers hope to open in Doylestown would be a
non-profit retail grocery store owned and governed by its members. Members make a donation to invest in the store and help to determine the kinds of products the store will carry.
