Rainy Forecast Forces Cancellation Of Doylestown Food Truck Festival

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The banquet of food trucks scheduled to roll into Doylestown Township on Sunday will have to wait.

On Friday afternoon, the Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation Board announced the cancellation of the popular event due to a rainy forecast for Sunday.

"Unfortunately, due to the rain in the forecast, our Fall Food Truck Festival with The Cherry Lane Band scheduled for Sunday, September 20 at Central Park has been cancelled," the township posted.

"We know many of you were looking forward to joining us, and we’re disappointed, too. Thank you to all of the food trucks, vendors, and community members who were planning to be part of the event," the township said.

"We hope to see you at another Doylestown Township Parks & Recreation event soon."
