Man Sent To Prison For Repeated Rape Of 2 Girls In Bucks County
The 60-year-old man will serve 18 ½ to 47 years in state prison under a sentence handed down by a Bucks County judge.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A Bucks County judge has sentenced a 60-year-old man to serve 18 ½ to 47
years in state prison for the repeated rape and sexual assaults of two girls in a Quakertown home.
Matias J. Martinez Morales, formerly of Quakertown, was convicted by a Bucks County jury in late January of one count each of rape by forcible compulsion, rape of a child, indecent assault by forcible compulsion, terroristic threats, two counts each of unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, and corruption of minors.
Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey L. Finley handed down the state prison sentence on Tuesday, May 28. He also sentenced Martinez Morales to five years of probation and ordered that Martinez Morales have no contact with the victims.

The Pennsylvania Sexual Offenders Assessment Board determined that Martinez Morales did not meet the criteria to be declared a sexually violent predator, but still must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
The Quakertown Borough Police Department began an investigation in November after Detective Ryan Naugle received a child welfare report indicating that a 16-year-old female was raped by an adult man when she was four.

During a forensic interview conducted by the Child Advocacy Center, the victim reported that Matias Martinez Morales raped her several times and threatened to kill her and her family if she told anyone. A second victim was interviewed by the Child Advocacy Center and reported that
she was sexually assaulted multiple times by Martinez Morales when she was six.
The case was investigated by Quakertown Borough Police Detective Ryan Naugle and was prosecuted by Chief Deputy District Attorney Matt Lannetti, Chief of Child Abuse Prosecution.
