FOX29 Filming At Doylestown's Kids Castle Thursday

FOX 29 will be filming a segment this week at Doylestown's Kids Castle, and your child can be featured. According to Kids Castle volunteer Joe Salvati, FOX 29 is filming at the local playground on Thursday, March 1 starting at 9 a.m.

Young children who are not playing hooky from school and have their parents permission can be featured in the segment, he said.

Salvati tells Patch he doesn't know too much about the nature of the segment, but it involves an ongoing quiz for viewers and a secret word that leads to prizes. "They will have the children yell out the secret word on camera when it's time to reveal it," he said.

No sign-up is needed to participate, just show up to the park that day. Kids Castle is located at Doylestown's Central Park, 425 Wells Road.

"The more children that are able to show up, the merrier," Salvati said in an email to Patch.

There is a chance of rain later in the day Thursday, but the Weather Channel is currently predicting cloudy skies in the morning.
