Alexandra Gilbert, the oldest daughter of Beth Beans Gilbert and Chris Gilbert, spoke about the foundation's mission.

"We always aim to give back locally, because we are grateful to the communities that have welcomed our family business and helped it succeed; this is a way to share that gratitude," Gilbert said. She added that the grandchildren aim to remain connected to the people and places important to their family and business, even if they no longer live in the area.

The Fred Beans Automotive Group marked its 50th year in business in 2025. The milestone was achieved partly due to Fred Beans' commitment to community engagement. His grandchildren are continuing his legacy of support.

Lauren Murray Soverino, daughter of Barbara Beans, discussed the responsibility of overseeing the foundation. "He instilled in all of us the importance of giving back, so we consider it a great responsibility and privilege to oversee the Foundation and ensure that we are able to continue helping others on behalf of our grandfather and our entire family," Soverino said.

All 10 of Fred Beans’ grandchildren grew up in Bucks County. Fred Beans raised his three daughters in Doylestown, where he still lives and maintains the company's headquarters. His three daughters hold leadership positions in the family business.
