Free Holiday Events Planned This Weekend At Fonthill, Tile Works

Children can meet with Santa, and there will be free self-guided tours of Fonthill, which is decorated for the holidays.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — There will be some fun festivities for the whole family this weekend at the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works and Fonthill Castle.

On Sunday, Dec. 9 from noon to 4 p.m., Moravian Pottery & Tile Works will host Santa Claus next to a roaring fire and a decorated tree. There will be holiday music, and Santa will be greeting children.

There will also be a free self-guided tour of Tile Works. Guests can see ceramists making tiles and running the historic, antique steam engine. Plus, there will be complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be served, and the tile shop will be open for holiday purchases.

Also that day, Fonthill Castle will be offering free self-guided tours of the ground floor. The castle is currently decorated for the holidays. There will also be complimentary hot cider.
