Funeral Services Set For Doylestown Teen Who Died In Boating Accident
Services will be held Thursday evening and Friday afternoon at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Doylestown.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Dominic John Testani, whose young life was cut short in a weekend boating accident in the Poconos, will be remembered during services at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Doylestown.
Testani graduated from Central Bucks High School West in January and had enlisted in the U.S. Army. The 18-year-old was preparing to leave for boot camp this spring to begin serving his nation as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces.
According to his obituary, "Dom" was a standout athlete, a natural acrobat, surfer, skateboarder, tree climber and skier. "His constant engagement with physical challenge was a manifestation of his inner soul. He relished practicing and executing spectacular performances for his brothers and friends."

Dom also treasured the people who comprised his world, expressing admiration for others without inhibition and interjecting humor and an element of surprise into any ordinary situation, according to his obituary.
Dom’s exuberance and compassion were complemented with grit and resilience, his obituary continues. After sustaining two serious sports injuries he underwent three surgeries and two slow years of rehabilitation. Upon being medically cleared in the fall of his senior year, Dom enlisted in the Army.

"Dom never wavered with his decision to serve his country," his obituary continues. "He arranged for an early graduation from CB West so that he could make himself available to leave for basic training in the spring. He was physically and mentally ready for his next chapter. He had profound respect for the officers involved in his recruitment and was deeply grateful for their mentorship."
A memorial Mass will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 24 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, where the family will greet guests from 1 p.m. until the time of Mass. There will be an additional visitation Thursday evening, March 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment will be private.
The brother of the late Gianna Maria, he is survived by his parents, Michael and Susan; his brothers, Mateo, Luca and Anthony; his maternal grandparents, Peter and Sandra Duchnowski; his paternal grandparents, Robert Testani (Sandra) and Barbara Testani; aswell as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that you "show people you love them in meaningful and unique ways."
