Global It Outage Impacting Some Bucks County Government Operations

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The global IT outage is impacting some Bucks County governmental operations.
A widespread Microsoft outage linked to cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike disrupted flights, banks, media outlets, and companies around the world on Friday and highlighted dependence on software from a handful of providers, NBC Philadelphia reported.
According to a statement issued by Bucks County Friday morning, phone and email services remain operational at county offices. Individual departments, however, may not have access to computers to handle requests.
