JAMISON, PA — Grocery Outlet Bargain Market will celebrate the grand opening of its newest store on Thursday, Feb. 22 at the Warwick Square Shopping Center, Almshouse and York roads, in Jamison, Warwick Township.
This is the third location in Bucks County for the "extreme-value" grocery retailer, which has other locations in Warminster and Quakertown.
According to the store’s independent owner-operators Bill and Starla Lohr, the opening of the 25,000-square-foot store is bringing 30 new jobs to the community and is filling a void in the shopping center left by the departure of Giant, which relocated to the Doylestown Pointe Shopping Center on Route 611 in 2021.

The former Giant Market space has been divided into two separate units with the Grocery Outlet leasing 25,191 square feet and Planet Fitness leasing the remaining 25,289 square feet.
During the pandemic, the former Giant store was used temporarily by Bucks County as a vaccination center for COVID-19.
Based in Emeryville, California, the Grocery Outlet has more than 400 locations in California, Idaho and the Pacific Northwest and in the Mid-Atlantic including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.
