Habitat Bucks Expands Impact to Quakertown Area
Habitat to open wildly popular ReStore #3 serving upper Bucks County
On Friday, May 19, at 9:30 am, Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County (Habitat Bucks) will celebrate the opening of ReStore #3 with a ribbon cutting at its newest location, 38 N. West End Blvd., Quakertown.
ReStore sales contribute significantly to the Habitat Bucks affordable homeownership and home repair programs. The impact does not stop there though. Opportunities are available for youth, faith groups, corporate teams, seniors and others to give back to their community through volunteering. The recycling of materials donated to the stores for reuse also keeps tons of material out of landfills.
“We are energized by the warm welcome we have received from the Upper Bucks community! This store will undoubtedly raise awareness of our mission, while providing sustainable funding,” said Florence Kawoczka, Executive Director, Habitat Bucks.

“The ReStore program builds affordable homes and repairs homes by generating revenue for Habitat Bucks. It also aims to build and extend resources to the surrounding communities. This is why we are so excited to join the Upper Bucks community and look forward to finding ways to build and grow our community,” added BJ Breish, ReStore Director.
Habitat ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers selling gently used and new building materials, appliances and furniture. The purpose of Habitat ReStores is to contribute to the work of Habitat for Humanity. When you support your local ReStore by shopping, donating or volunteering, you are supporting your local community.
