Howard 'Hank' Transue died peacefully Saturday, Feb. 20. He was 47.

Howard ‘Hank’ Transue died peacefully Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, W.Va., after a lengthy illness. He was 47.
Hank was a graduate of Central Bucks East High School, Class of 1988. Hank had lived and worked in Doylestown, except for the past two years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard H. Transue Jr.; his brother, Thomas J. Transue; and stepbrother, Brian Damms.
He is survived by his mother, Regina Gouran Transue Damms; stepfather, Jeffrey Damms; and his stepbrother, Aaron Damms and his family, Christine and Bailey. He leaves behind many friends, most recently, Ken Allread and David Barker who were instrumental in keeping the laughter and love alive.

Hank lettered in track in high school, played soccer, and spent most of his working years as a landscaper. He never lost his sense of humor or his kindness to man or animals.
Per his wishes, there will be no services.
The family requests donations in his name to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84741 or Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
