HazMat Scare Forces Evacation At Regency Woods In Doylestown Borough

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — There were some anxious moments early Saturday afternoon after suspicious chemicals were reported at the Regency Woods Apartment complex.

The discovery prompted a response from the Central Bucks Regional Police Department to the 70 Old Dublin Pike location at 12:10 p.m.. It also resulted in the evacuation of the building as a precaution.

The fire marshal and the Bucks County Hazmat Team determined that the chemicals were safe and there were no safety concerns.

Also responding to the scene was Doylestown Fire Company No. 1.
