Hey Kids! Thompson Challenges You To Draw The Car Of The Future
The Thompson Organization invites children from kindergarten to sixth grade to submit their best designs by March 14.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Hey kids, here's your chance to design the car of the future.
In what has become a late winter tradition, the Thompson Organization invites children from kindergarten to sixth grade to submit their best designs by March 14.
For more than 30 years, Thompson has encouraged young artists to put their creativity to the test and design the Toyota, Lexus, or BMW of the future. The contest is free to enter.

This year, Thompson is challenging children to again dig deep into their creative minds and design a futuristic car. The more unique, the better, they said.
Participants may use crayons, markers, colored pencils, ink, or paints to create their design on paper no larger than 9 by 12 inches.

“Every year we wait in anticipation of what children think their future holds, and every year we are so impressed by the imagination and originality of the submissions,” says contest coordinator, Shelby Shaffer. Each child that enters will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and entries will be on display throughout the Thompson dealerships in Doylestown and Willow Grove."
Three winners per grade will be selected and one lucky Grand Prize winner – chosen from the first place winners – will have his or her design posted on a local billboard. Winners will be notified by email. Prizes will be presented at an Awards Ceremony at Thompson Toyota in early April hosted by Laura Thompson Barnes and her brother, John Thompson.
Entry forms are available at any Thompson dealership, online at www.1800thompson.com/drawthefuture.htm, on each store’s Facebook page, and in all Thompson Service Centers and Showrooms.
Completed drawings and entry forms should be dropped off by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14. Entries can also be mailed to Shelby Shaffer at The Thompson Organization: 122 W. Swamp Road, Doylestown 18901. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Shelby at shelby.shaffer@1800thompson.com
