Highly-Decorated Officer Retires From Warrington Township Police Force
Officer Sadowski joined the department in 1998 and in 2001 became the first academically accredited police officer in the township.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police Chief Daniel Friel and the Warrington Township Police Department recently recognized Officer Daniel S. Sadowski on his retirement from the force after a 25 year career.
Officer Sadowski retires as a highly decorated officer having received numerous letters of recognition, commendations and awards throughout his career.
Officer Sadowski joined the department in 1998 and in 2001 became the first academically accredited police officer in the township.

Officer Sadowski began his career in the patrol division and remained there until his retirement. He served on the department's first highway unit specializing in accident reconstruction, highway drug interdiction and traffic and DUI enforcement.
Officer Sadowski served as a field training officer, the department's final DARE officer and officer in charge of the department's Honor Guard. In addition, Officer Sadowski was a member of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), a certified National School Shield Security Assessor and school safety ALICEinstructor.

Officer Sadowski also was an original member of the Bucks County Major Incident Response Team (MIRT) formed following the events of 9-11 and served 20 years with the Southeast Region Joint-Terrorism Task Force where he was selected to serve as team leader working in counter-terrorism and field force operations with other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
Officer Sadowski holds several certificates from the US Department of Homeland Security's Center for Domestic Terrorism and earned his National Pro-board certification in Haz-Mat operations from Texas A&M University.
Officer Sadowski remains a member-in-good-standing of the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBI-LEEDA).
