'Howl-O-Ween' Event Is Saturday In Doylestown

Bring your costumed canine to Turk Park for some Halloween fun.

Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation will host its annual Howl-O-Ween Canine Celebration this Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 am to 1 pm.

The event will be held at Turk Park III on Almshouse Road adjacent to the Doylestown Dog Park. Membership to the dog park is not required to attend the celebration, which will feature a dog costume contest and other pet-friendly activities.

“Families are invited to bring their costumed canines to participate in contests, agility activities with the trainers from Holiday House Pet Resort,” according to an announcement from Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation.

Rescue groups and organizations will be on site, as well as local pet-related businesses.

Plus, Emerald the pet psychic will be there and there will be a “Lucky Doggie Raffle,” with prizes. The first 100 families to attend will receive goodie bags.
