Hurricane Helene Relief Raised In Bedminster Twp.
The Bedminster Township Police Benevolent Association joined Weis Markets to collect much-needed supplies for Hurricane Helene relief.

BEDMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA —Hurricane Helene relief will be on its way soon.
The Bedminster Township Police Benevolent Association partnered with Weis Markets at 431 Dublin Pike to collect much-needed supplies from residents to help those impacted by the hurricane that struck Florida two weeks ago.
The association thanked Swamps Auto Body for hosting the collection site.

Upper Bucks County residents George and Lisa Bassert organized the collection and will deliver the donations to fire companies in the affected areas, the association said.
More than 230 people have been killed by Hurricane Helene, which unleashed devastation across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.

Helene, which made landfall in Florida's Big Bend region last week as a massive Category 4 hurricane, has become the deadliest mainland hurricane since Katrina in 2005.
