"I cannot release a name because the next of kin have not been notified yet," said Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck, who confirmed that the inmate died at the hospital, not at the correctional facility. "And I don't have a cause of death yet."

This is the second death this year reported by the facility.

In January, Octavius Davis, 35, of Bristol Township’s Croydon section, was found in the Doylestown facility unresponsive, the coroner said.

Davis, according to court records, had previously faced misdemeanor drug-related offenses in recent years. He was sentenced to probation last year and recently was called up for a probation/parole violation hearing, Levittown Now reported.

Last year, three inmates died by suicide and one died of natural causes, according to the Bucks County Herald.

The jail reported two suicides in 2018 and one each in 2019 and 2020, the outlet reported.
