Intoxicated Driver Crashed On Ferry Road, Doylestown Township Police Say

The crash was reported May 5, when police say Brenda Foster lost control on Ferry Road and drove down an embankment.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — An Ottsville woman has been arrested in connection with a DUI crash in Doylestown Township on May 5, police said. According to Doylestown Township Police, at 11:51 p.m. that night, a crash was reported on Ferry Road north of Old Iron Hill Road.

When police arrived, they located Brenda L. Foster, 53. She had been driving north on Ferry Road north of Old Iron Hill Road and veered off the roadway to the right and drove down an embankment, police said.

Foster had an odor of alcohol on her breath and showed signs of intoxication, police said. She failed several field coordination tests.

She was taken into custody and charged for DUI and driving on roadways laned for traffic and released.
