Buckingham police also reported that a Sagewood Court woman was arrested on an outstanding felony retail theft warrant.

A Buckingham Township resident fell victim to an IRS scam and local police are warning residents so they don’t follow suit.
According to police, a local woman reported receiving a message on her home phone informing her that she was “in trouble” because she owed the IRS $3,000.
When she called the number back on her cell phone, she reached a man who told her that she needed to pay $500. If she didn’t pay, the man said, the IRS would send a team to arrest her, “take away her liberty,” and confiscate her property, according to police.
