Bucks County Community College is hosting a forum, Islamic State and Stabilizing the Middle East, on Thursday, March 26 at 12:15 p.m. at the Lower Bucks Campus. The hour-long program will present a closer look at what’s happening in Iraq by gathering input from two local residents who have recently spent time in the Middle Eastern country.

The forum is organized by faculty member William Pezza and will offer perspective from James and Deborah Fine, who recently returned from relief and peace building in Iraq.

“If we’ve learned anything after three wars in the Middle East, it is that we need as much accurate information as possible when developing a strategy to deal with the emerging threat from ISIS,” Pezza said. “Jim and Debbie can share first-hand experiences about what is happening on the ground.”

The free program will be held in the Student Commons area of the Lower Bucks Campus, 1304 Veterans Highway, Bristol.
