BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The owner of a popular gelati store in the Washington, D.C., area is bringing his famous artisan Italian frozen delights to Bucks County.

Gianluigi Dellaccio, who operates Dolci Gelati, known throughout the nation's capital for its fresh gelatis, has opened its doors at 87 South Main Street in New Hope and will be celebrating its grand opening on Friday, May 17 beginning at 2 p.m. in conjunction with the town’s annual Pride Festival. The store will be open until 10 p.m.

Just down the road from New Hope on the New Jersey side of the river, Titusville's newest French bakery will be celebrating Fete de la Bretagne by raising money to support pancreatic cancer research at Penn Medicine. A portion of the sales from now through Sunday, May 19 will be donated to A Love For Life.

Big news for those parents who loved Babies R Us.

The Kohl's store on Street Road in Bensalem will be among hundreds featuring the re-imagined Babies "R" Us. Kohl's plans to bring the brand to 200 stores later this year. Each Babies "R" Us assortment will range from 750 to 2,500 feet of space featuring baby gear, apparel, and more.

And if you're a customer and a fan of the Yardley Distillery in Morrisville, take note.

Four months after opening, the Yardley Distillery's Tex-Mex Grill has announced new hours.

The main announcement at the eatery at 897 W. Trenton Ave. is that it will open at 11 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday so the business can attract early afternoon crowds.

"See you for lunch," the Yardley Distillery said.

Babies "R" Us Returning To Bucks In Partnership With Kohl's

The first Babies "R" Us shops inside the department stores will open this August, with plans to roll
them out in 200 locations this fall, Kohl's announced in March. Kohl's revealed that Babies "R" Us will come to several stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Babies "R" Us began closing stores in 2018 after its parent company at the time, Toys "R" Us, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. WHP Global acquired both brands in 2021.

Yardley Distillery Unveils New Hours For Morrisville Eatery

Four months after opening, the Yardley Distillery's Tex-Mex Grill has announced new hours. The
main announcement at the eatery at 897 W. Trenton Ave. is that it will open at 11 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday so the business can attract early afternoon crowds. The new hours debut on May 21. The hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to Midnight Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays. It will be closed on Monday.

Bakery Partners With Newtown Nonprofit To Fight Pancreatic Cancer

They're calling it "Crêpes for A Cause."

French bakery L'Annexe de Mamie Colette is teaming up with Newtown-based A Love for Life to celebrate the Fete de la Bretagne while raising money to support pancreatic cancer research at Penn Medicine.

From now through Sunday, May 19, 20 percent of sales at L'Annexe, including its sweet or savory crêpes, authentic baked-in-house french bread, and beverages will benefit A Love For Life and pancreatic cancer research.

There also will be a limited number of Un Amour Pour La Vie (French version of A Love for Life) custom etched pint glasses, etched glass picnic bottles and postcards for sale.

New Dental Office Opens In Ivyland Borough

There's a new dentist in town. After much anticipation, Hometown Children's Dentistry is now open in Ivyland Borough.

The new state-of-the-art pediatric dentist office occupies the former McMillan Music building on the corner of Jacksonville Road and Lincoln Avenue.

At a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony, proprietor Dr. Sharon Hamilton, DMD, and her family joined with her builders, the mayor, members of Ivyland borough council, and others from the community to celebrate the official opening.

Hamilton said it was part of her “life’s dream” and she wanted to “thank the borough for welcoming us into this beautiful community.”
