LAHASKA, PA — "It's A Philly Thing" (Lights. Camera. Action. No. 94) has won the grand prize in this year's Peddler's Village scarecrow contest.

Created by Donna Reeves and Rosalie McCracken, the entry shows the three Philadelphia sports mascots - the Phillie Phanatic, Swoop from the Eagles and Gritty from the Philadelphia Flyers - hanging from a light fixture in victory formation.

The scarecrow display is free and on view every day through October 29.

Through the duration of the Scarecrows in the Village competition and display, Peddler's Village will be collecting non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Bucks County Housing Group, a nonprofit dedicated to ending food and housing insecurity in Bucks County. Donations can be dropped off at the Visitor & Event Center, Buttonwood Grill, Cock 'N Bull Restaurant, Earl's New American and Giggleberry Fair during normal shopping hours.
