Jamie Herbert, 18, Recent Central Bucks South Graduate

Jamie Marie Herbert of Warrington died surrounded by her family and close friends on Thursday, March 24 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. She was 18 years old.

Jamie was born in Doylestown and was the daughter of James and Patricia (McDonald) Herbert. Jamie graduated Magna Cum Laude, Class of 2015 from Central Bucks South High School, where she had been a member of the Central Bucks South High School Marching Titans. She was currently attending West Chester University Class of 2019.

Jamie was a member of the West Chester University’s Marching Band (flute), WCU Concert Band (flute), and was the Secretary for the WCU Residence Hall Association. Jamie’s favorite travels included family trips to Walt Disney World and a two-week graduation trip throughout California.

In addition to her parents, Jamie is survived by her brother Jason Herbert, and his wife, Beth. She is also survived by her Aunt Nancy Bucher (Stan) and her Uncle John Herbert (Amy) and her cousins Brian, Kelly, Kim, Sam, Mike, Colleen, Chrissy, Jeff, Zachary and Sammi.

Jamie’s Funeral Service was held Wednesday, March 30 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hatboro.
