Kathy Robinson, 55, Longtime Doylestown Hospital Employee

Kathy was born in Philadelphia on March 4th 1960. She had moved to Upper Moreland with her Mother and sister where she attended Upper Moreland High School. Kathy loved to be outside. She played field hockey and basketball in high school. She graduated in 1978 and attended Penn State Ogontz Campus where she completed her Associates Degree.

Kathy was employed at Doylestown Hospital in 1986 in Community Relations Department where her career spanned over 27 years. During that time she married Michael Robinson a General Contractor from Doylestown. They had two Beautiful children Kirsten and Stephanie. While raising the kids, being outdoors was a big theme for the family from horse shows to soccer, basketball and vacations to sunny Florida.

Baking and shopping with her girls was also one of Kathy’s favorite things to do. Kathy will be missed by all who knew her, family and friends alike. She fought a hard battle against cancer and showed a brave front to those around her. She lived her life to the fullest extent and she could always be counted on for a smile and a kind word.

She left us in the Prime of her life. Too sad for words. We all will miss and Love you forever. In addition to her husband and her daughters she is survived by her sister Noreen Horan and the Robinson family.

A memorial for Kathy will be held on Thursday at 11:30am on December 10, 2015 at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Keller’s Church Road, Plumsteadville. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of service, at the Funeral Home. Internment will be held privately.
