Kevin Thomas Miner, 21, Central Bucks South Graduate

The Warrington man passed away last week after a courageous 2-year battle with brain cancer, his obituary says.

Kevin Thomas Miner of Warrington, 21, passed away on Nov. 11, 2015 after a courageous 2-year battle with brain cancer.

He was the loving son of John and Carol Miner and beloved brother of Elizabeth Miner. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Opal Miner, aunts and uncles Steve and Betty Miner, Diane Carmen, Donald and Donna Miner, Barbara and Don Bryant, Russell and Celeste Corcoran, and John and Teresa Tyrrell as well as his many loving cousins: Caitlin, Colleen, Maura, Carlye, Katie, Colin, Evan, Drew, Brian, Jonathan, Brandi and Niki.

Kevin graduated from CB South in 2012 and continued his education at the University of Delaware as a chemical engineering major. After being diagnosed in April 2013, he continued to go to college while undergoing treatment. He never complained or showed self-pity but always had a positive attitude, a great smile and was an inspiration to all.

Kevin loved spending time with his family and friends, and playing with his dog Sandy. He was a gentle and loving person who had many interests including violin, theater and karate.

Kevin’s funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 17 at St Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison.

The family will receive friends Monday, 5-8:00 pm at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington and 10-11:00 am Tuesday at the Church. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
