Kite Day To Be Celebrated Sunday At Fonthill Castle

Go fly a kite at Fonthill Castle during a special community event Sunday.

The 3rd Annual Kite Day, sponsored by the Friends of the Bucks County Historical Society, will be held Sunday, April 15 at Fonthill Castle. The event, a celebration of National Kite Month, goes from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Participants will learn to build and fly a kite with award-winning kite expert, Clifford “The Kite Man” Quinn. He will discuss the history of kiting and his passion for kites in a presentation that begins at 1 p.m.

The cost to attend is $5 per family.

Bring your own kite or reserve a kite to purchase at $5 each. Reserve a kite online by clicking here. All payments for kites will be collected on the day of the event and payment can be made by cash or check (payable to the Friends of the BCHS).
