Lansdale Man Killed In Weekend Crash In Upper Bucks County

The 55-year-old man was driving north on Route 611 when his Kia was struck by a Dodge Ram truck.

NOCKAMIXON, PA — A 55-year-old Montgomery County man was killed Saturday afternoon in a two car crash on Route 611 just north of Center Hill Road in Nockamixon Township.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Dublin, Tjerk J. Post of Lansdale died from major injuries after his 2021 Kia was struck by a truck just after 2 p.m.

Police said Post was traveling north on Route 611 when a southbound Ram truck driven by 28-year-old Kyle Jesiolowski of Ottsville crossed over the yellow line and struck the Kia.

Post was transported to Grand View Hospital with major injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.

Jesiolowski was transported to St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem with injuries. A passenger in the truck was also taken to St. Luke's Bethlehem with injuries.

The accident is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police and the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.

Assisting at the scene were the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M Collision Analysis Reconstruction Unit, Palisades Regional Fire and Rescue, St. Luke's Emergency Ambulance, Central Bucks EMS, Upper Bucks Regional EMS, Dewey Fire Company No. 1 Ambulance and Swamp's Towing.
