League Of Women Voters Spotlight Central Bucks School Board Race

DOYLESTOWN, PA — As a public service to the voters of the Central Bucks School District, the League of Women Voters of Bucks County has recorded interviews with five of the 11 candidates running for school board in the May 16th primary election. The 11 candidates were sent invitations to participate in these interviews.

The purpose of the interviews is to give each candidate the time and space to tell voters in their own words about themselves, their background, experience and views on education in Central Bucks, according to the league.

The one-on-one interviews were conducted on Zoom and hosted by a League member residing outside the school district. The questions were provided before the interviews and all candidates were given equal time to answer.

The recordings are posted on the League’s website, Facebook page and YouTube channel.

'The League urges all voters in the Central Bucks School District to learn about the candidates’ views on the issues and how they would approach their role as a school board member. Since school board candidates can cross-file, many candidates will be listed on both Republican and Democratic ballots.
