Levittown Man Faces Felony Theft Charges In Warrington
An employee told police that a man was in the store filling a trash bag full of merchandise.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Levittown man faces felony theft charges after stealing a bag of merchandise from a drug store in Warrington.
On January 19, police responded to the Rite Aid at 642 Easton Road for the report of a retail theft.
Upon arrival an employee told police that a man was in the store filling a trash bag full of merchandise. The employee told the man he could not take the merchandise, to which he replied, “It doesn’t matter. The store is closing anyway."

The total amount taken was $636.
The man, Richard Charles Sturts from Levittown, was identified using facial recognition. Sturts was arrested and charged with one count of retail theft (F3) and one count of receiving stolen property (F3).

Sturts was processed and arraigned by Judge Wertman who set bail at $150,000 or 10 percent cash. He was transported to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
