Lewd Act Lands Man In Trouble With Police In Doylestown Borough

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A 29-year-old man was arrested on June 30 for committing a lewd act while sitting on a North Main Street bench in Doylestown Borough.

According to the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, police were flagged down by an employee of a local business who led police to a victim.

The victim, police said, reported that an unknown man sat on a bench next to them, exposed his private parts, and committed a lewd act.

The man was taken into custody and charged with open lewdness, harassment, a drug violation, and disorderly conduct.

He was arraigned in court, bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000, and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
