For those on your list that enjoy original music and art, local vocalist, musician and sketch artist Andrea Carlson will officially launch her newly recorded C-D entitled "Out of My Dreams" on November 27th. The C-D is a collection of ten songs dedicated to the musical poetry of Oscar Hammerstein ll and Richard Rodgers. It features songs from the great musicals created at Highland Farm such as "Oklahoma", "Carousel", "Allegro", "South Pacific", "The King and I" , and "The Sound of Music". Carlson stated, "I was greatly inspired to use my art to help #SaveOscarsHome. I spent a year studying the history and ground breaking musicals that were created at Highland Farm, and also spent many hours sketching the house and barn.
