Local yoga instructor participates in Unite for HER Wellness Day for breast cancer patients
Joan Rosetsky has been invited to present with colleagues in other healing modalities at Abington Hospital on October 25.
Joan Rosetsky, an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT®-500) certified in the nationally recognized Yoga 4 Cancer (y4c™) program, has been invited to present with colleagues in other healing modalities at Unite for HER’s informative Wellness Day event at Abington Hospital on Sunday, October 25.
Wellness Day events are by invitation only for current breast cancer patients at the host hospital. For more information about the October 25 Wellness Day and to find out about participating hospitals near you, visit the Unite for HER website.
Wellness Days are designed to educate breast cancer patients about the benefits of complementary therapies. In a small group setting, trained professionals lead discussions in the areas of yoga, acupuncture, massage, Reiki, meditation and nutrition. Each participant has an opportunity to create a personal plan for incorporating these valuable modalities into her or his own treatment and recovery program.
