Longtime Warrington Township Police Officer Retiring His Badge
Officer Aita served as an officer in Westfall Township, Milford Borough and Bristol Borough before joining Warrington in 2001.

WARRINGTON, PA — Warrington Township Police Officer Joseph (Jay) Aita is retiring his badge after 22 years of service with the department.
Officer Aita began his emergency services career with America Hose Hook & Ladder Company No. 2 in Bristol Borough at the age of 16. He then attended the Montgomery County Community College Police Academy in 1992.
Officer Aita served as a police officer in Westfall Township, Milford Borough and Bristol Borough prior to joining Warrington Township in 2001.

During his time on the force, Officer Aita has had a rewarding career with numerous accomplishments, including service as a long-standing member of Bucks County’s Major Incident
Response Team (MIRT) and DUI Task Force. Over the years, he also was a member of the township's Motor Unit, Field Training Program and Youth Aid Panel.
