The case began on April 12 when an officer spotted a motorcycle with no license plate and attempted to investigate. When asked to park the motorcycle, police said the rider warned the officer, “You don’t want to do that,” before speeding away.
Police say Rosales ran multiple stop signs, performed dangerous maneuvers on Easton Road, used the center turn lane to pass a police vehicle, and weaved around traffic at high speeds to avoid apprehension.

Over the following weeks, officers encountered the same motorcycle several more times and attempted traffic stops, but each time the rider fled at high speeds.
During a May 10 encounter, Rosales reportedly mocked an officer by asking, “Are you going to quit?” and saying, “All you have is a vehicle.” He also taunted police, saying, “You make me drive reckless when you chase,” before fleeing once again.
The repeated evasions came to an end on June 5 when an officer spotted the motorcycle entering the Home Depot parking lot.
After locating the motorcycle parked alongside the building, officers waited and identified Rosales when he exited the store. He was placed under arrest and transported to the station where he was processed and released.
