Major Road Repaving Project Slated To Begin Tuesday In Doylestown

Motorists can expect overnight delays and should use caution when traveling through the construction zones.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The long awaited paving of East and West State Street is scheduled to begin Tuesday night, July 28 and continue nighty through Friday, July 31.

PennDOT announced on Friday that overnight milling and paving operations on State Street will begin on Tuesday, weather permitting, and continue through the end of the month.

The work will be taking place on two sections of State Street - Route 202 to Ashland Street and from Clinton Street to Route 611 (Doylestown Bypass).

The work is scheduled overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day. During the overnight hours, lane closures with flagging operations will be in place.
