Man Arrested For Assaulting Pregnant Woman In Warrington
A Warrington man is being held on $100,000 bail after police charged him in a domestic disturbance that turned physical.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A 37-year-old man is facing charges after an assault on a pregnant woman in Warrington Township.
Police responded to the 2200 block of Pileggi Road on Friday following a report of a domestic disturbance that escalated into violence.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a pregnant woman who informed police of ongoing domestic disputes with a 37-year-old man. She told police that a verbal argument over documents became physical when he allegedly began pushing and shoving her.

Police said they observed clear signs of injury to the victim, including bruising beneath her left eye and noticeable swelling and redness in the same area.
An investigation also uncovered a prior assault on Jan. 29 during which the man allegedly struck the woman in the face.

Police said the victim was three months pregnant at the time of the alleged assaults.
The Warrington man was arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment.
He was transported to the station for processing following his arrest and was arraigned by Judge O’Neill who set bail at $100,000 or 10 percent cash.
The man was unable to post bail and was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility to await court action.
