Man Arrested For Car Break-Ins; Retail Thefts Reported In Warrington
Warrington Police reported the following incidents in late August and early September.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warrington Township Police Department reported the following arrests between August 27 and Sept. 3.
August 27
- At approximately 7:19 p.m., police responded to Wegmans for the report of a retail theft in progress. Police said a 44-year-old woman attempted to exit the store with two bottles of wine valued at $60.68 concealed in a bag. She was also found to be in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. She was released pending charges.
August 31

- At approximately 1:57 p.m., police responded to the parking lot of Target at 401 Easton Road for the report of a man attempting to enter several vehicles. Witnesses provided a description of the actor. A short time later officers located the man who was later identified as Daniel Healey. Through investigation, it was discovered that Healey had entered several vehicles and had stolen numerous items. Healey was taken into custody and processed. He was arraigned by Judge Wertman who set bail at $20,000.
September 2
- At approximately 6:08 p.m. police responded to Wegmans for the report of a retail theft in progress. Through an investigation, it was determined that Daniel Weiner under rang and attempted to exit the store with $43 worth of unpaid prepared foods. Weiner was taken into custody and transported to the station. Weiner was processed and released.
September 3

- At approximately 12:45 p.m., police responded to Wegmans at 1405 Main Street for the report of a retail theft in progress. Upon arrival, loss prevention told police that a 40-year-old woman attempted to leave the store with $119.81 worth of merchandise. Loss prevention also provided information that the woman had committed two other retail thefts in August totaling $411.96. The woman was processed and released.
