Man Arrested For Retail Theft, Threatening Police In Warrington

He is charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, and evading arrest or detention on foot.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A 31-year-old man faces multiple charges for stealing merchandise from the Home Depot store and for making threats against police.

A Warrington Township police officer was on routine patrol around 2:36 p.m. on Oct. 10 when he was flagged down by several people who said a man had just stolen numerous items from the store and was observed running into the woods behind the store.

The man was located a short time later and taken into custody in the 700 Block of Griffiths Road.

During the arrest, police said the man made a threatening remark to the officers, "You're lucky I didn't have my piece on me because I would be shooting at you." The man also made several other threats to harm the officers while in custody, police said.

The man was transported to the police station where he was processed. Because he had several warrants out for his arrest, he was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
