PERKASIE, PA — A middle-of-the-night bike ride turned into criminal charges for one man in Perkasie.
Perkasie Borough Police last month arrested a 44-year-old man on multiple charges, including DUI and terroristic threats, after he was found riding a bicycle with a trailer connected. Neither the bike nor the trailer had reflective devices affixed, police said.
The incident was reported on Dec. 13 just before 2 a.m.

When police made contact with the man, later identified as Robert Vandemark, he became "agitated and resistant" with officers, authorities said.
A blood draw was taken, and Vandemark was subsequently charged with DUI, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.
