Theft Of Mercer Tile Under Investigation In Doylestown Borough
A man wearing a black ski-type mask, dark long-sleeve shirt and khaki shorts is captured on video stealing the tile from home, said police.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A decorative tile was reported stolen on May 27 at 3:14 a.m. from a home in the 200 block of Davis Road in Doylestown Borough.
According to the Central Buck Regional Police Department, a man wearing a black ski-type mask, dark long-sleeve shirt and khaki shorts is captured on video stealing the tile.

The Mercer Tile depicts a bird and the Latin phrase “Silva Vocat” (the forest calls). The tile is approximately two feet tall and pictures a bird in a tree on a red brick background. The tile is valued at $600.
