Fight At Sellersville Carnival Leads To Assault, Harassment Charges
Two juveniles were injured by an adult man who fled the scene after the assault, police said.
PERKASIE, PA — A 37-year-old man has been charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for his part in a fight that broke out at the Sellersville Carnival.
On June 25 at approximately 9:26 p.m. police responded to Lenape Park for the report of a fight in progress at the carnival. Two juveniles were injured by an adult man who fled the scene after the assault. It was reported that one of the juveniles was knocked unconscious as a result of the assault and was transported to Grandview Hospital for treatment.
Perkasie Police Detectives conducted follow-up witness and victim interviews and identified the 37-year-old man as the suspect involved in the assault. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage in New Britain.
