Man Charged With Attempted Statutory Sexual Assault In Warrington
Police said the 40-year-old man traveled to the township from Lancaster County to meet who he thought was a 13-year-old girl.
WARRINGTON, PA — A Lancaster man has been charged with attempted statutory sexual assault and four other charges after he drove to Warrington to meet who he thought was a 13-year-old girl.
Police said the girl was a fictitious person used by a group to catch online predators.
Blaise Diehl, 40, was charged with criminal attempt statutory sexual assault, criminal attempt involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, criminal attempt aggravated indecent indecent assault, sexual abuse of children, and criminal use of a communication facility.

During a two-month investigation, police said several electronic devices were seized with the belief that they contained Child Sexual Abusive Material. Search warrants were obtained for the
devices and at least one of them did contain such material, police said.

Diehl turned himself over to Warrington Police on Nov. 18. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman, who set bail for $100,000 cash. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
