Warrington Police Charge Man With Burglarizing Apartment

When police arrived at the apartment, they found the door ajar, the interior ransacked, and a man inside.

WARRINGTON, PA — A 53-year-old man is facing burglary charges after he was found by police inside a ransacked apartment on Street Road.

Police have charged William Higgins with burglary (F2), criminal trespass (F3), and theft by unlawful taking (M3).

On Sept. 11, police responded to the 2100 block of Street Road for the report of an unwanted subject. When they arrived, police found the door to the apartment ajar, the interior ransacked and a man, later identified as Higgins, inside.

Following an investigation, police determined that Higgins had entered the apartment where he was not permitted to be. He was taken into custody, charged, and processed.

Higgins was arraigned by Judge Kronnagel who set bail at $50,000. He was transported to
Bucks County Correctional Facility.
